Time is fleeting, and May is before us once again. For those of you that have never met me, I'm Leila, co-owner of Space Montrose. For my family, Space is not just a store, but a piece of our heart and soul. We hope it comes through when you visit us in the experience we share.
May is such an important month. A time we celebrate all the wonderful mother's and mom figures in our lives. It's also a very tough month for many. For those who have lost their mom's, or do not have a relationship with theirs.
I type this with one hand, as I hold my baby girl in the other. I love being a mom, even in all it's day to day chaos. It is hectic everyday in some way or another, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. It's also the most rewarding and fulfilling part of my life.
This coming May we'll be highlighting a few of the hardworking mom's that share their works in our store. How do they manage it all? We are going to find out.
Also, May 10th we have local makers, Oils Earth and 6pm Candle Co. popping up at Space Montrose for the afternoon. It'll be the perfect time to find special gifts and to learn about both of their wonderful concepts.
